Century ADV-1 Fishing Rods

If you’re looking for a multi-range rod that bridges the gap between the remarkable playing action of the NG+ and the long range power of the FMA and SP+ series then you need look no further. The Century ADV-1 is the carp rod for the job! The Century ADC-1 has been designed in conjunction with two of the finest carp anglers of our generation. Danny Moeskops is the most respected caster of our time, holding countless records over the years, and Frank Warwick is a leading carp angler on the world stage; you couldn’t ask for two better design aids than these two boys!

There are two prime test curve options in the ADV-1 range: 3.25lb and 3.5lb. Both curves are available on a 12ft rod and these will cover the majority of UK carp fishing scenarios, not to mention a large portion of continental waters. The ADV-1 is a very well balanced and lightweight rod thanks to the high quality carbon fibre used in the manufacturing process. The reel seat is even manufactured from 1K carbon fibre – which is not only exceptionally strong but also exceptionally lightweight. This is complemented by matching carbon spacers, too. The butt section of the rod also features 1K carbon weave, for additional strength. The lower grip on the rod is manufactured from Japanese shrink wrap, to ensure your full comfort no matter how wet or cold your hand is.

As with all top end Century rods, the ADV-1 benefits from both autoclave and ATT. Autoclave is a curing process that occurs during the production process that aims to eliminate degradation of the test curve. ATT is an anti-twist technology that retains perfect ring alignment, even when your rod is under extreme pressure whilst casting. Like at Century rods the Century ADV-1 is manufactured in the UK to the very highest standards.
