Mill Lodge Retreat is located in the heart of Essex in a rural village called Ingatestone.

Situated next to a picturesque 3.8 acre lake with carp to 40lb, you will find a collection of 9 luxurious glamping Pods and a magical treehouse.

Set in a 6 acre grassy meadow, facing out onto the waters edge lies our collection of stunning glamping pods.

Each pod is perfect for a family stay, with a double bed and a bunk bed for children up to 16yrs.

Unfortunately as much as we love our furry friends, we do not allow pets.

With a Austrian feel, each lakeside pod is individually designed to offer you a luxury glamping experience in any season and weather.

You’ll be surrounded by wild flowers from the hedgerows, grazing sheep, cows and many other forms of wildlife, who often use the tranquil lake as their corridor with exclusive access to the water.

Each Pod is equipped with a 32inch smart TV, Netflix, mini bar (contents are a supplement), PlayStation 4s, WiFi and a fitted cupboard with clothes rail and shelf.

There is also a fan available to help keep you cool in the summer months and a heater to keep you cozy in winter.

Each accommodation has a double bed and bunk bed for children up to 16yrs old.

The pods are fully insulated keeping it cool during warm summer days and warm on the chillier nights, providing the perfect balance for all seasons of Glamping and Fishing.

Outside, each pod offers a relaxing decking area with a hot tub and fire pit (logs sold separately). An outdoor cinema can be added as an extra experience. The decking also boasts a table and chairs to enjoy al-fresco evenings with exclusive access to the lakeside.
